DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
The project is to manufacture two ranges of anchors (fixed and foldable) equipped with the patented ‘Stop-Ancre’ (Stop-Anchore) system, which allows faster anchoring, without snatching and using less chain and less length of anchorage.
Alain MAURIN, inventor and founder of the company GMPRO: Marseille yachtsman with a passion for navigation and diving, he patented a stabiliser system (‘Stop-Ancre’ kit) to mount on the flat commercial anchors. This addition transforms the flat anchor giving it a hold in the sand which preserves the environment and ensures real safety when anchoring
