DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
BuyCo is a collaborative SaaS platform which makes it possible for exporters / importers to simplify the planning and management of their maritime container shipments and in particular i) to prepare, realise and monitor their transport operations (with or without freight forwarders), ii) to work in a collaborative way internally and with all their partners, iii) to get visibility on their flows and documents, and iv) to collect and analyse data in order to continuously improve their supply chain.
Evaluate and explain the financing need :
BuyCo is seeking €2m to fund the expansion of its sales and support team internationally
Clients of BuyCo enjoy the following benefits:
- Important time and energy savings for the teams (no more silos, including inside the shipper’s organisation where production, supply chain and finance teams can share the same info in an organised way),
- 5 to 15% external transport costs reduction,
- An improved internal and external visibility tool ensuring a better control of operations and contributing to improved satisfaction of their own customers,
- Unlimited reporting / KPI possibilities.
In November 2019 The Port of Marseille Fos has completed a blockchain pilot scheme to enhanced efficiencies at France’s largest seaport.
The focus of the project for freight transportation on the Mediterranean-Rhone-Saone (MeRS) corridor is to run a trial to evaluate the security of the digital transport chain.
BuyCo provides shippers with a collaborative platform simplifying container imports and exports.
